Wise Owl Outfitters Hammock Bug Net – Mosquito Net for Hammock
The Wise Owl Outfitters Hammock Bug Net is a universal-fit mosquito net rated the top pick for most campers in 2026 roundups. It drapes over any single or double gathered-end hammock, cinches tight with a drawcord bottom, and zips shut with a smooth double-sided zipper for easy entry. Made from ripstop nylon with superfine see-through mesh, it keeps flies, mosquitoes, and gnats out while preserving airflow and stargazing. At about 16 ounces with its carry bag included, it is light enough for backpacking and cheap enough for car campers to keep one per hammock.
Check Latest Price on Amazon →Why You Need This
Cheap hammock nets earn their price in the worst way: tangled drawcords, single-entry zippers that trap you on the wrong side, and mesh so coarse the gnats laugh at it. The Wise Owl net pairs fine ripstop mesh with a smooth double-sided zipper and a drawcord bottom that cinches shut around any hammock — bug protection that actually behaves at 11 p.m. when you need the exit.
🏆 How It Compares
The Wise Owl bug net fits single and double hammocks from any brand, and the double-sided zipper lets you get in and out from either side without reorienting the whole setup. A tarp or rain fly is not included, so overhead weather protection is a separate purchase, and the drawcord bottom needs a moment of fiddling to seal completely.
