KingCamp Instant Shower Tent, Portable Superior Stable Privacy Shelter, Large Room Outdoor Toilet Tent with Floor
The KingCamp Instant Shower Tent is a free-standing privacy shelter built to be used, not just carried: rust-resistant iron poles instead of the fiberglass legs on a cheap pop-up, a zippered PE floor with drainage zips so you are not standing in mud, a detachable rain canopy, and 150D silver-coated fabric rated UPF 50+ that also blocks enough light to change in. Setup is the familiar pop-up motion - unfold, extend the poles, listen for the click - and takes under a minute with no tools. Inside there is a top hook for a 5-gallon solar shower bag, side hooks for a shower head, and mesh pockets for toiletries. At standing height with a real floor and a door that closes, it is the structure that makes a bucket toilet or an off-grid shower actually usable at a campsite, and it packs down to about the size of a folding camp chair.

The classic camp-bathroom failure is not the toilet, it is the shelter around it. A $30 pop-up screen room arrives with thin fiberglass legs, no floor, and no real anchoring, so the first windy afternoon folds it over on itself and the first rain turns the inside into mud - and the whole point of the thing is a 2 AM trip in the dark. This tent fixes that specific failure: iron poles and stakes keep it standing, the zippered PE floor keeps your feet out of the mud, the rain canopy keeps the inside dry, and the top hook holds a full 5-gallon shower bag so the shower and the toilet share one private room instead of two improvised ones.
🏆 How It Compares
In the camp-bathroom setup it is the shelter half of the kit, and it is the one piece worth spending on. The catalog's toilet options - the Reliance Luggable Loo ($24.99) and the Camco Portable Toilet Bucket ($34.99) - solve the toilet for under $40, and the Advanced Elements 5-Gallon Solar Shower ($35.99) solves the water; none of them solve privacy, standing height, or having somewhere to hang the bag. At $129.99 the KingCamp is roughly four times a disposable pop-up screen room, but it replaces the fiberglass-pole shelter that folds in wind and the separate ground tarp, and its 4.5-star average across 1,791 ratings is the strongest in the privacy-shelter class - the cheap pop-ups sit at 3.8-3.9. Buy it once and it outlives three of them.
