Fireside Outdoor Portable Collapsible Pop-Up Fire Pit, 24-Inch, Weighs 7 lbs
A 24-inch pit that folds flat and weighs about seven pounds, so the fire goes where the trunk space is: open it at the site, sit it under a standard armload of firewood, and fold it back down when the weekend is over. The raised pan lifts the burn off the ground, which is the difference between a fire you can legally have on grass and a scorch mark you have to explain. It runs on ordinary firewood, needs no tools to assemble, and stows in a gear bin next to the stove instead of riding on the roof.

The site has no fire ring, the ground is dry grass, and you have already used your one trunk-space slot on a cooler.
🏆 How It Compares
The value and packability pick: not as deep or as hot as the Solo Stove, and not as fast as propane, but it folds flat and weighs seven pounds.
Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Folds flat and weighs about 7 lbs, so it fits where a steel bowl will not
- Raised pan keeps the burn off the ground — kinder to grass, decks and park turf
- Takes ordinary firewood, no pellets or special fuel
- Sets up and packs down without tools
- The cheapest of the three ways to get a contained fire at a site with no ring
❌ Cons
- A heat shield is NOT included — buy one separately if you camp on delicate ground
- A low, open pan gives you a shallower coal bed than a deep steel bowl, so the burn is less wind-stable
- No lid and no cooking grate included; you bring the grate if you want to cook on it
